Scott Hollow is an actual location in Harborcreek, Pennsylvania of which I was unaware until I began writing The Spirit of Troy. Although Scott Hollow is a gorge with a creek at the bottom, my inspiration for Scott Hollow came more from Winter Green Gorge in Harborcreek than Scott Hollow. I liked the fact that Scott Hollow was so accessible to the homes in that area but I liked the fact that Winter Green Gorge was so steep and such a beautiful and well known spot in Harborcreek..
