TRUMP FAMILY MOTTO

This morning when I tuned into the news, I was confronted with a photo taken during BLOTUS’ trip to El Paso that was posted, apparently in pride, by BLOTUS’ wife.  It is a startling photo of her holding the orphaned baby that had recovered from broken bones sustained when his mother saved his life by shielding him from gunfire but, tragically, died, and fell to the ground on top of the baby.  It is startling, sickeningly so, because BLOTUS is giving a toothy, full smile and a thumbs-up.  Mrs. BLOTUS as well is showing her pearly whites in a beaming smile.

How can they smile?  How can they be so gleeful under the circumstances?  It is horrific and disconcerting to see their unabashed happiness on display at this moment.

Certainly, everyone is relieved the child survived, but he will be growing up without his mother and father, never to know them.  It is a terrible, tragic story, just one of so many in El Paso, TX; Dayton, OH; and Gilroy, CA in the space of a week, along with countless other deaths from gunshots all over the country that did not make the national news.  The bloodshed is daily and every citizen is on edge, especially those who BLOTUS has demonized.

I could not have even forced a smile holding that baby–an infant victim not even aware at this point that he is a victim.  BLOTUS and his wife are truly callous, insensitive monsters who lack the capacity for empathy.  I refuse to attach the photo Mrs. BLOTUS posted with such pride.  I will, however, attach the photo of her infamous June 21, 2018 visit to view the caged detainees in McAllen, Texas.  I will never forget that this woman, who could afford to wear anything in the world, chose to wear a $39.00 raincoat with, “I really don’t care, do you?” emblazoned on the back.  That pretty much sums up the Trump family motto.  Why should we expect anything else from them?

Smiles?

Your smiles send icy chills down my spine.

Thumbs up?

Whose job are you congratulating?

The baby you hold has been orphaned

By a hate-filled racist with a gun

Whose hate was affirmed by your rhetoric.
