Purple Hyacinths in The Spirit of Troy

(From Chapter 7)

Tony looked around, trying to decide which way to go next, and noticed a lifesize statue of an angel in Lot 4 of Section A.  As he neared the statue, its details became clear. It was actually a statue of two angels, a female and a small boy, and the statue was not a monument.  The female angel stood about five feet tall.  Its plump round face looked lovingly down upon the boy angel who returned her gaze.  Her arm rested softly upon the boy angel’s shoulders.  Two purple hyacinths bound together with a purple ribbon lay at the base of the statue.  Tony picked them up to sniff their sweet scent.
