Today I feel somewhat the same as I did when my parents were ill. They weren’t on life support, but I knew the end was near. Our democracy has been on life support since the Senate made it clear they would acquit Trump even though they believe he was guilty of everything set out in the Articles of Impeachment. Today they are going to pull the plug. Last night, I couldn’t watch Trump’s Lies of the Disunion, a disunion that he, himself, created, and today I can’t bring myself to watch while Moscow Mitch and his gang have Chief Justice Roberts take Lady Liberty off life support.
