Dear Ms. Pelosi,
As a lifelong Democrat, I must tell you I am terribly frustrated and angered by the slow response of the House to hold the Executive accountable for what, to me, is lawlessness. From the time he took office he has been attempting to establish himself as a dictator, and has been flirting with, if not actually committing, treason. His shameless, cringeworthy disdain for the law, our Constitution, our Democracy is on display for the world to see. Now that the Democratic Party is the majority party in the House of Representatives, we must start an Impeachment Inquiry. Every fiber of my being wants this done now.
I have read the Mueller Report, all 448 pages, and I have reread some parts. The report has sickened me, although, I was prepared for Mr. Mueller’s findings. I was only baffled and disappointed that Mr. Mueller did not tie things together with what Mr. Trump is all about–the money. Money is, has been, and always will be the most important thing in the world to DJT. I disagree that there is not enough evidence to support an indictment of conspiracy. The evidence is as plain as the nose on your face. Perhaps it is just so blatant and obvious, that legal minds are making it more complicated than it need be to see because they are used to solving crimes. His actions read like a novel describing a criminal doing his crimes. There is no mystery here.
I am tired of watching him flaunt his lawlessness and I’m tired of waiting for something to be done. He is thumbing his nose at all the Joe Schmoe citizens of the United States like myself. The citizens that make up his base don’t get it yet but they will. He is thumbing his nose at them, too, and laughing at them as well because they believe the absurd lie that he is an innocent flower that has been persecuted. (Please!) Perhaps they will wake up to his true character if they are forced to hear something other than what they are being fed on Fox News. Living where I do among countless people who only get their news from Fox, I know what these die-hard Trump supporters are like. It is impossible to reason with them. It is actually scary to me how brainwashed the MAGA crowd is. They are impervious to the possibility that they have been fed lies.
And DJT is not just thumbing his nose at everyone in the U.S., he is thumbing his nose at all Democracies of the world, all the free people of the world, and all the people who want to be free. Trump is an embarrassment to our nation destroying our standing in the world by his horrid interactions with other leaders on the world stage. He is showing the citizens of the U.S. to be fools to have elected him and to have people still support him even though he’s shown himself to be the most corrupt president ever elected with the most corrupt individuals around him (his best people). He is destroying our image before the world as an example of freedom and Democracy. As our President he should represent the nature and values of the people of the U.S. Unfortunately what he is displaying is his corrupt, rude, immoral, selfish, ruthless, cruel, greedy, privileged, bigoted, egocentric, uncaring personality. I don’t want the world to think of Americans in those terms. We have to show the world we are not like that and that he will pay for his awful behavior.
Please start the process of impeachment. I am proud to be a Democrat and I don’t want to be ashamed because our Democratic leaders sat on their hands and just waited for us, the people, to do their work and try to vote him out of office, especially when you know he will, once again, have help from his buddies, Putin, perhaps Kim Jong Un, etc. Trump as much as asked for their help on June 12, 2019! We must get rid of DJT. Please start an Impeachment Inquiry immediately!
PLEASE DIRECT YOUR OWN LETTER TO NANCY PELOSI TELLING HER TO START AN IMPEACHMENT INQUIRY IMMEDIATELY. THAT’S ALL YOU HAVE TO SAY!
