Cathy Pantona is a volunteer for Find-A-Grave.com who helps locate and photograph graves for those inquiring through that website. While trying to find an ancestor for a client at a local cemetery Cathy notices something unusual about the gravesite of one of the prominent families of the area, the Anatolis. Cathy’s curiosity piqued, she begins researching the Anatoli family history, much to the dismay of her husband. Cathy starts having disturbing dreams about the Anatolis that she has trouble separating from reality, and she begins to experience unbelievable, unnatural phenomenon causing her to question her own sanity. When the Anatolis get wind of her peculiarly zealous interest in their family history, they put added pressure on Cathy to mind her own business. By then, however, Cathy is totally immersed in the story, and feels a connection with, and compelled by, spirits of the Anatolis who lived in the 1860’s to continue her quest until she reveals the truth about their fate.
