Home for Healing

One of the kids came home with a few injuries that mom’s patching up. Once all is well, she’ll be let out in the world again. Currently, she’s out there with a few problems, but that’s okay because she hasn’t been out there that long and spoken to many people. She’s rather shy and has only interacted with a few people as far as I can tell.

I’ve looked into professional proofreading and find that the cost is in the thousands of dollars, thousands of dollars that I do not have and don’t anticipate having. For that reason, I proofread my own work which leads to missed errors. It’s only after I’m away from my kids for a while and they come home for a visit that I’m able to see their cuts, bruises, and problems. My kids sometimes hide their wounds and I fail to see them until the next time they come home for some TLC. Then, it’s time to patch them up again and send them back out to try and touch the world.
